As a Local Singer Songwriter, I like to get away from it all to find a nice cafe and enjoy a traditional English breakfast. As recently moved to Chertsey I found Joe's cafe and so glad I did. The atmosphere is like a step back in time with British nostalgia and a 60s northern soul Soundtrack to keep your feet tapping. The welcome was great and the food was very hot and tasty. I shall return. Highly recommended. Cheers Jez

Traditional English breakfast with great prices great service and lovely atmosphere with lots of traditional aspects to the British cuisine that are probably considered old school that is an absolute valuable thing. Classic British cafe in a very spacious area . The food is very high quality and catered for everyone. Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s so homely

Visited Joe's Cafe for breakfast because the decor was nice and they did not disappoint because the food delivered which explains why they have so many postcards sent back from visitors. On a brief visit to Chertsey, I felt that there were not many dine in cafes as they were mainly takeaways so this is definitely a winner for Joe's. The menu at Joe's had the usual breakfast suspects but interestingly it didn't have black pudding which you can order if needed. I had the small breakfast which came with tea and buttered toast with extra black pudding. It came on a clean white plate, no oil to be seen and the tinned tomatoes were intact and the plate was clean surrounding it with no traces of tomato juice etc. Anyway, everything on the plate was 10/10, the toast was buttered nicely and you can taste the saltiness from the butter. The bacon was trimmed, egg was fried nicely so were the sausage and black pudding. Last but not least the tinned tomatoes were just right, not too soft or soggy with a meaty chewy bursting with seeds in the middle.

If you are on here searching for a great place to have breakfast or brunch then, honestly, get in Joe's and get eating. It's an honest, old school cafe. A proper cafe cup of tea and fry up. No frills, just mouth watering proper sausage, egg, beans, toast, bacon, black pudding and hash browns..... Hungry yet? Just do it! Also, lovely lady that runs it (embarrassingly I don't know her name after numerous visits) who also makes lovely coffee to take away. Thanks.
